I've been on YouTube for 8 years…
And up to this point, I've published infrequent videos about everything from day trading, travel vlogs, bitcoin, book reviews, and interviews.
But as of today, I'm making some big changes…
It's time to get real.
The truth is that looking back over my past videos, I've been very unsatisfied with the direction of this channel. My goal has always been to do videos that educate and inspire…
And over the years, I've tested several different types of videos, like the Pathways To Wealth episodes, or our videos documenting our year-long trip around the world…
And while I've had a lot of fun making these videos, I feel like I've failed in my ultimate goal of this channel, which is to create valuable videos that can help over 90% of my subscribers create more income and learn how to build wealth by investing their profits.
Why 90%?
Well, I know not everyone that watches my videos will take action, and some people will fail, but I want to focus on topics where 90%+ can succeed if they put in the work.
I don't want to do videos about fluffy self-help bullshit, But I really want to focus on what I've seen be the biggest differentiator between those that succeed and those that fail, which is learning how to develop relevant, tangible skills that can help you thrive in today's economy.
I don't have all the answers, and I certainly don't want to come off as some guru who has it all figured out…
But I've had some success in life, and even more important than any success is my ability to put my ego aside and learn from my many failures. More importantly, I want to teach you the hard lessons.
I'm also connected with a lot of high achievers that are eager to share their knowledge.
So instead of trying to become some famous YouTuber, my mission is to develop a community of 100,000 subscribers that are hungry to develop skills that can create more income and grow their wealth.
So let's go over a couple of examples of content I'm no longer going to produce…
As fun as random travel videos are, the fact is they offer very little tangible value other than some inspiration, which is great, but I have other YouTuber friends that are muuuuch better at that than me.
Instead of pointless travel videos, I'm going to focus on showing you tangible travel skills and ways to make money while you travel.
Also, I no longer want to do videos about day trading the traditional financial markets, because no matter how much effort I put in, the fact is over 90% of people that try to day trade the stock market will lose money. And the problem is that nobody thinks they're going to be the one that loses.
But on the flip side, that's why I'm so excited about things like bitcoin!
Bitcoin has been an incredible market to trade and invest in, and people thought I was crazy when I was buying at $188.
A lot of people have done really well with us in the cryptocurrency space the past few years.
I also want to show the ugly realities about entrepreneurship and investing… Because the truth is, building a company and growing your wealth is hard.
After taking a close look at the flood of content that's out there now, I've noticed there's a ton of podcasts and interview shows that are basically commercials for the person getting interviewed, they offer little value, and it's usually a waste of time.
So the successful people that I bring on this channel are gonna be the ones willing to share the ugliest part of their journey…
Because that's where the most valuable and important lessons are! It's not in the “Look at me, I'm so successful” stories, but in the stories about soul-crushing failure, or mistakes that almost wiped them out.
For example, everybody's seen the infomercials and interviews about how you can get rich flipping houses with no money, but nobody is talking about the sharks in real estate investing that are just looking to screw over new investors… or everything that can go wrong in a deal and cause you to lose everything.
That's where I think people can learn the most valuable lessons!
And that's the type of content I'm going to be committed to delivering to you.
